About Us
Welcome to Tunbridge Wells Primary Care Network.
Tunbridge Wells Primary Care Network is a collaboration of 8 GP Practices in the Tunbridge Wells area, serving a combined population of approximately 85,000 patients.
Our Vision
At the heart of our PCN is the belief that we can achieve great things working together for our patients, it’s not just about numbers and targets, it’s about improving patient care.
We believe...
That we can make a positive impact together as a PCN to achieve great things for our patients by being cohesive, working collaboratively, expanding services and sharing resources
In achieving optimal healthcare outcomes and meeting the local needs of our patients
In supporting and caring for our staff
To deliver best-practice across the whole PCN we must work effectively using economies of scale in order to sustain economic viability and maximising opportunity.

- Greggs Wood & Speldhurst Medical Group
- Grosvenor & St. James Medical Practice
- Kingswood Surgery

What are Primary Care Networks?
The new GP contract was published in early 2019 as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.
A key element of the new contract is the development of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) which bring GP practices together with other local services - such as community, mental health, social care and the voluntary sector to look after local populations. PCNs help to join up services at a local level, focusing on the specific needs of these local populations, with patients still accessing routine GP appointments as they do now.
West Kent Primary Care GP Federation
Tunbridge Wells PCN is a member of West Kent Primary Care GP Federation along with the other GP practices and PCNs of Maidstone, Malling, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Weald. Our aim is to work together in order to strengthen Primary Care in our area. This further collective strength will allow us to share responsibility for developing and delivering high quality, patient focused services for our local communities while ensuring our member practices remain sustainable and able to build and develop for the future.
